The Wilton Court House responds to an Artist's and a Writer's desire to live and work in a sustainable house. The house's orientation, massing, and materials reflect this goal. A green roof garden orients the house to south sun and distant views. Interior finishes include renewable bamboo flooring and native hardwoods. Locally quarried limestone window seats capture and hold warmth in winter. Limestone relief panels, sun dial, and countertops sculpted by the Artist serve as beautiful testimony to the integration of art with architecture.
